Background noise is also virtually eliminated, allowing the Throat Mic to be used to transmit clearly in loud locations.
The Throat Mic allows you listen and transmit discreetly without removing your radio from its carrier. The Throat Microphone headset also helps enhance your safety and performance. The headset allows you to use your hands to protect yourself, operate tools, grasp railings, move items, and perform routine tasks while using your radio.

A couple of things: A quick disconnect to enable separation from the radio without unscrewing the radio connector. It would make it much more convenient when using the head & not having to undo the whole set-up. No instructions...
I switched to this from a more traditional chest clipped mic, and love it. No more 10-9’s, wowwie. I do wish there was some included documentation for how to properly position the conductive microphone, if it even requires an optimal position.
