The EH® EMGCAMI two-way radio audio accessory connector (Part Number: 1037) works with Motorola N70, N50, N30, R7, R5, MXP660, and MXP600 portable two-way radios, and with Motorola ION portable devices
The EH® EMGCAMI connector for Motorola N, R, and MXP two-way radios and Ion portable devices is a 13-position audio accessory connector that implements the Motorola Global Common Accessory Mini Interface (GCAI Mini) standard. The EMGCAMI connector for Motorola N70, R7, MXP600 radios, and Motorola Ion portable devices supports mono headphone output, mono microphone input, and push-to-talk. The Motorola N, R, and MXP two-way radios, EMGCAMI radio connector is compatible with Motorola N, R, and MXP series radios, and Motorola ION devices with the 13-pin Motorola GCAI Mini interface port, including Motorola R7, R5, N70, N50, N30, MXP660, MXP600 radios, and Motorola ION devices. This connector has an angled cable connection and strain relief with a heavy-duty retention screw. The connector is overmolded and includes a molded silicone-rubber seal for waterproofing.
EH® manufactures speaker mics, headsets, earpieces, and other audio accessories with the EMGCAMI connector for Motorola N, R, and MXP series radios and ION portable devices. All EH® audio accessory part numbers ending in 1037 (ex., EH-SK2-T-QD-1037) include the EMGCAMI connector and are designed to work with Motorola R7, R5, N70, N50, N30, MXP660, MXP600 radios, and Motorola ION portable devices. In addition, we sell replacement set screws for the EMGCAMI and OEM GCAI Mini connectors.
Note that some devices, including Motorola N50 and N70, require firmware R35 or newer for early adopters.
