The male Nexus headset plug (1038) is a 7mm straight plug with civilian wiring for use with all PTTs, radios, audio accessories and other devices with a female Nexus headset jack with non-military wiring (including Peltor) .
The male Nexus headset plug with civilian wiring is a 4 position, 7mm plug supporting mono headphone output and mono microphone input. This connector has a straight cable connection and strain relief. The connector is also available as a female Nexus connector (see connector 1039). The Nexus plug is compatible with all audio devices that support the standard civilian Nexus headset connection standard for audio input and output.
