The Motorola CLPe audio plug with twist lock is designed to work with Motorola CLP E series radios. Motorola CLP E series radios including CLP1010e, CLP1080e, CLP1083e, CLP107e, and CLP446e require the Motorola CLPe plug.
The CLPe straight headset plug is a 4 position plug supporting mono headphone output and mono microphone input. This connector is designed specifically to fit Motorola CLP1010e, CLP1080e, CLP1083e, CLP107e, and CLP446e radios and other CLP E series radios. The CLPe audio plug will fit only CLP E series radios and will not work with other devices, including the previous CLP series which require threaded connectors (see connector 1045 for standard CLP radios). The plug includes a twist-lock to ensure the earpiece or other accessory stays securely in place on the radio and the waterproof seal is maintained. The connector features a straight cable connection, strain relief, silicone seal, and twist-lock.
